Safety Comes First

At Paws & Pillows by Nails 2 Tails, the safety, comfort, and well-being of every dog in our care is our top priority. Our policies are designed to create a clean, structured, and stress-free environment for all guests.

Health & Vaccination Requirements

To ensure the safety of all dogs, we require the following vaccinations before attending daycare or boarding:

  • Rabies
  • Distemper / Parvo (DHPP)
  • Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Vaccination records must be current and provided prior to your dog’s first visit. Records can be uploaded during booking or shared directly with our team.

Spay & Neuter Policy

  • Dogs over a certain age may be required to be spayed or neutered to participate in group play.
  • Exceptions may be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.

Our team is happy to discuss your dog’s individual needs.

Temperament & Behavior

  • All dogs must be friendly with people.
  • Dogs showing aggressive or unsafe behavior may be separated or asked to discontinue daycare or boarding for the safety of others.
  • We reserve the right to determine appropriate play groups based on size, temperament, and comfort level.

Supervision & Facility Safety

  • Dogs are supervised at all times during daycare and play sessions.
  • Play areas are organized by size and temperament.
  • Our facility is clean, climate-controlled, and designed specifically for boarding and daycare.
  • Regular cleaning and sanitization protocols are followed daily.

Illness & Wellness

  • Dogs showing signs of illness (vomiting, diarrhea, coughing, lethargy, etc.) may not attend daycare or boarding.
    • If a dog becomes ill during their stay, pet parents will be contacted immediately.

Emergency Care

In the unlikely event of an emergency:

  • Our team will contact you right away.
  • Veterinary care will be sought if necessary.
  • All decisions will be made with your dog’s best interest in mind.

Our Promise

Every dog is treated with care, patience, and respect. Our goal is to provide a safe environment where pet parents can feel confident leaving their dog in our care.
